Any Other Webkinz Fans?

In the past month I’ve developed a special interest in the children’s site Webkinz, and it’s really hard to find anyone to share it with. Do or did any of you have this interest? I’m working on my plush collection right now, and so far I only have four, but I ordered three more on eBay that I’m super excited for. I tried to join the webkinzinsider forum, but their captcha is broken so I can’t register. If any of you happen to be members of that site, I would appreciate it immensely if you could let the admins know. I can’t send them a question as a guest because of the same captcha issue, and it’s infuriating. Anyway, I thought I’d come say hi to some of my old friends and see if anyone happens to be interested in engaging with me on this topic!

I used to be pretty obsessed with Webkinz when you could actually buy the stuffed animals offline to unlock the pets and didn't need a membership to play mini-games do anything fun or interesting. I didn't even know the site was still on. But if it is, I was not happy with all the changes they made with it, just like I'm not happy with all the changes they made with Neopets and YouTube. And are going to make with YouTube.

Yeah, I’ve heard that the site used to be a lot more accessible to free members which is a bummer. I’m aware that they’re kind of using me as a money sink when I get manipulated into spending money on estore points and the deluxe membership, but it’s like I can’t help myself. How many pets did you have? I’m up to ten so far, including the virtual-only ones I have. My favourite so far is the icy mist leopard, but I have the strawberry cloud one too.

Ohh yes!! I know this thread is a year old but I'm a very active member on Webkinz. Just got one of my "dream pets" almost a week ago (the Signature Arctic fox). I collect the different types of Webkinz foxes.
