Does anyone else always need to have something in their hand or have to be holding onto something?

I often have to be holding onto something or have something in one of my hands to feel fully comfortable. I usually have my phone in my hand, or I hold onto the front or hem of my shirt. I don't know why I need to do this, but I do. Especially when I'm outside and in public.

I almost always need to have something in my hand - I usually carry a pocket watch in my jeans pocket attached to my belt with a short piece of chord for this purpose. I can either put my hand in my pocket to hold it or take it out.

Usually.. either a fidget but usually my phone or cigarette lighter. Generally I spin it in my pocket so people don't notice.. I lost my fav fidge though. Otherwise I find just using my hand or clothes.

Yes. I will pick up a stone or elastic band or a penny etc (Whatever I find at the time) and hold it and play with it in my hand by rubbing it on my fingers or stretch the elastic band as I am walking.
I don't know why I do it but I have done it since an early age and my Mum does it too. :)

When I'm outside, I feel more comfortable when I'm carrying something, or else I kinda don't know what to with my hands. I don't carry trinkets though, I would drop them in no time.

At home, I have one of these:

Yes. I usually have an extra hair tie on my wrist that I'm always playing with. I'm not a messy person but I have a bad habit of leaving them all over the place. My german shepherd used to take em and put them on her bed or take to my room and put them in the spot she slept on in my bed  therefore I'm always buying new ones. it was cute so it's alright. When she passed away I wondered why I had so many all of sudden because they weren't disappearing.

My moms new service dog (a german shepherd/malinois) also seems to be a hair tie thief, she steals mine and my mom's. But she plays with them too. She likes you to shoot them across the room so she can go find it  it's actually quite a satisfying game. She puts it on her paw and pulls on it, just like she watched me do with it on my wrist or between my fingers. She's way too smart.

Ok. That was a really long random response to a simple question. oh well.

I constantly need to have something in my hands. I bring my circular loom knitting with me, everywhere I go.

I’m weird.

I don’t like things in my hand.
