I think that he has some kind of rare form of Pervasive Developmental Disorder.

Are you asking for an educated and objective diagnosis or a subjective and unprofessional opinion of this obviously fictional character?

I am asking for both professional and unprofessional opinions.

I just wanted you guys think what he has. It's just an opinion, but you can provide facts and sources as well.

Is Archer on the Spectrum?

I only noticed this thread this morning. I wish I had not noticed it. Sharing a syndrome with Archer is not something I wish to do!

But since the question never occurred to me before I didn't watch the show with that in mind. I don't know. And now, the next time we watch Archer that question is going to be distracting me. :-?

I think he's a sociopath.

P.S. It's a fun show, isn't it? We really enjoy it!!

It's possible to have Conduct Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, alongside with ASD as well. I don't think it is studied that much because statistics say that most people with developmental disorders, specifically with communication delays, ASD, depending on how severe it is and especially people with Intellectual Disability are more likely to be victims than being perpetrators.

I think it says the same with mental health disorders as well. But people who have mental disorders but function well in society are more likely to commit crimes than people who don't function well in society.

However, there was a study that small subgroup, specifically people with high-functioning ASD commit more crimes than people who are lower-functioning, most people specifically with Intellectual Disability.

It is rare for a person with Intellectual Disability to commit crimes on their own and are more likely to be victims, because they have problems with Intellectual and adaptive-functioning. Most of the time if a person with Intellectual Disability happened to commit crimes, it is because of influences of someone who take cares of them or because they went somewhere, started to have PTSD and felt like they have no choice but to join the criminals. It is all parts of someone's influences. Planned criminal activities that is committed by a person with Intellectual Disability is rare.

People who are higher-functioning regardless if they have history of developmental delays or not, they are more likely to be diagnosed with personality disorders, because they have enough skills to function well in society and sense they function well in society, they are more likely to commit crimes. Mental health disorders and developmental disorders has nothing to do with criminality, unless we are talking about developmental disorders with antisocial traits, conduct disorders, specific paraphilic disorders, specific psychosis or specific personality disorders.

That is like saying that I am a sociopath or psychopath not autistic, just because I have history of sometimes being violent from my early childhood and in my early teens at the age of fifteen, especially when I was deranged with delusions and hallucinations for one month when I was fifteen years old.

I am more likely to commit crimes and develop CD, PD and NPD regardless of my history of developmental delay, because I am high-functioning.

I have:

* Learning Disorder
* ASD
* ADHD
* Traits of Conduct Disorder Unspecified
* Bipolar Disorder
* Pedophilic traits
* PTSD-like traits
* Many personalities

I have history of being treated for:

* Learning Disorder
* ASD
* ADHD
* Bipolar Disorder with psychotic features
* Antisocial traits

I have history of taking:

*Guanfacine
*Rexulti
*Olanzapine

I used to take:

*Lorazepam
