One of my little Aspie family members ALWAYS lines things up beside himself on the bed every night before he goes to sleep. Usually it is a row of his favourite cars, but often includes a new toy he has acquired that day. I was sort of expecting him to grow out of it before he is an adult though....

I normally have a messy pile of books, CDs and MP3 player at the head of the bed, that's about it. Can be annoying when it all falls over. And I have noticed that whenever I go to sleep with headphones in my ears I always wake up with them out of my ears (and normally half strangled by the wire too) :P.

Yes, I line some items on my bed and sleep with them: my iguana plushie, a CD/MP3 player, my cellphone, my wallet and my glasses. I need these things when I wake up.

I love my bed, too. It's my safe place and a good place to think. I put things on my bed that I want to have close by for whatever reason. In my perfect world, eveything I own would be always within arm's reach. I would like to live in a dorm for the rest of my life.

Does this include women? (Or, for those of the fairer sex or of differing inclination.. does this include men?)

I also used to line up stuffed animals on my bed! They would be ordered from biggest to smallest: the smaller ones closer to me. Then I would tuck them all in and I would just be on the side of the bed, and not have room to move around without disturbing them.
