A few minutes ago I peeled a sticker off the cover of my "Ted" DVD and have just been playing with it in my hands, rolling it b/tw my fingers, etc. since then. It reminded me of how I used to do this all the time with stickers and adhesives when I was a little kid.

When my mom took me to church when I was a toddler, she would usually give me a sheet of colorful stickers (like of Winnie the Pooh, glittery stickers, smiley faces), and they would keep me busy for almost the whole service....I stuck them pretty much everywhere, even in her hymnal. Some of them are still there! My mom told me that before I was old enough to pay any kind of attention to stickers, she resorted to keeping me quiet by shoving bits of unfrosted Poptarts into my mouth, lol.

Does anyone else really like stickers? I still do, especially if they're Cars ones. :D And even now that I'm 20, if I see a sticker/adhesive surface, I like to play around with it and enjoy the stickiness. I think it gives some kind of sensory input. What I really like are those loooong baggage tags that airlines weave thru suitcase handles...I take them off, peel off the backing and go wild! :)

I once had protection overlays for schoolbooks, they had borders on the ends to keep the overlay intact, it was attached with some form of glue. When they were in use for a longer time, those borders started to fall off and I liked to touch it because they were sticky, I used to do that all the time during class while listening to the teacher, I thought it was incredibly relaxing and a nice feeling on my fingertips. I even liked to touch the fingers I touched the glue with with the thumb of the same hand.

I guess this is a bit similar. :D

Can't say I particularly like the feel of stickers.

I like stickers too :)

I love to peel them off. Like stickers off a movie or a price tag. I spend a lot of time on it, carefully to get the whole sticker and not leave anything leftover. I always had the idea of re-sticking them to something like a poster board or something like that.

Me, neither. I don't like sticky feelings on my hands. Probably my only tactile aversion, besides my tenderheadiness.

I guess you could make interesting art that way, since you like the sticky feeling of stickers. Just think of those huge collections of pictures or portraits which from afar look like a face or some other motive, you could try to do that with stickers! :D

Yes, whatever I buy (fruit, etc.) that has a wrapper and/or sticker on it, I've saved and re-stuck, plus the decorative kinds, if someone buys them or gives them to me.

I love stickers! I like to cut them up and roll them and make neat 3D shapes and figures. I especially like to roll sticker up on itself sticky side out and roll it back and forth between my fingers. So many neat things you can do :D

I love stickers, but my favorite, is the rubber strip type stuff that comes on gift cars and things..... I could roll that stuff around in my fingers for hours, lol...

I used to have a sticker collection, but someone stole it, made me so sad....

I loved to take a sticker off, with like a shape to it, and then try to get it perfectly back into it's spot so they still loked like a brand new sticker pack... lol. :D

Nope. Do not like. Do not want. Smooth and dry is best.

I like to cut off lengths of sellotape and stick it on me then peal it off.

I have the opposite issue that the OP has. For me, stickers are a MAJOR sensory issue (I don't know what else to call it). I hate stickers to no end. If my fingertip accidentally comes in contact with a sticker that's on fruit, or a price sticker or other little sticker that's on a product (like quality control stickers, "made in China," other small information), I feel "Eeeeuugghh!" and must wipe the finger on my pants or if a sink's nearby, briefly rinse.

Any product I buy that has stickers, the stickers immediately come off. I'll scrape and scrape with an exacto knife for stubborn stickers until nearly every last bit of adhesive comes off. If a sticker is anywhere on a spray bottle, it's coming off. I won't let stickers on products come in contact with my cutting board (like on fruit) and if so I'll rinse the area. When I pick fruit at the market I make sure my fingers don't touch the stickers. I used to think this was OCD, but I'm now thinking it's ASD, though I haven't been evaluated.
