A few minutes ago I peeled a sticker off the cover of my "Ted" DVD and have just been playing with it in my hands, rolling it b/tw my fingers, etc. since then. It reminded me of how I used to do this all the time with stickers and adhesives when I was a little kid.
When my mom took me to church when I was a toddler, she would usually give me a sheet of colorful stickers (like of Winnie the Pooh, glittery stickers, smiley faces), and they would keep me busy for almost the whole service....I stuck them pretty much everywhere, even in her hymnal. Some of them are still there! My mom told me that before I was old enough to pay any kind of attention to stickers, she resorted to keeping me quiet by shoving bits of unfrosted Poptarts into my mouth, lol.
Does anyone else really like stickers? I still do, especially if they're Cars ones. And even now that I'm 20, if I see a sticker/adhesive surface, I like to play around with it and enjoy the stickiness. I think it gives some kind of sensory input. What I really like are those loooong baggage tags that airlines weave thru suitcase handles...I take them off, peel off the backing and go wild!
