Anyone here eat a lot of stuff that was not food as a kid or currently. I was reminded of this bc my cat loves eating plastic, styrofoam and licking our walls and furniture (he has been like this since a kitten and the lost keeps growing). When I was younger I would eat paper very often, eve having favourite and least favourite types of paper. I also would love to chew those rubber arm bands (leading to a lot of throat and ear infections). I still crave that texture to this day but my TMJ dysfunction stops me thankfully. As a toddler i used to rip out my hair to eat it too apparently

I used to eat paper, linen, strings, sometimes bite furniture.
My younger daughter now does, too.
I'm not very worried over it.

I've eaten a lot of non-food items throughout my life (not really as an adult though). Soap, paper, etc. I don't really know why, I just felt compelled to consume or put certain things in my mouth when I was younger.
