I live in Deer Park, a suburb of Houston. It's close to Pasadena and Baytown.
My decision to attend Midwestern was because an instructor at the community college I attended recommended it. The student-faculty ratio is 19:1, and the geology program would let me take algebra/trig-based physics. Some of the other colleges required calculus-based physics, and some required math up to differential equations. Midwestern only requires math up to Calculus 2.
Actually, I am 27 years old.

ahh you're 27. Well, it must be the beard growth ; )
My oldest son is 27 but I think he looks younger... maybe it's cuz I've seen him his whole life.
I'm glad you're getting into a school that lets you take algebra/trig-based physics! That's awesome. The student-teacher ratio sounds pretty good, too! I wish you much luck, I bet you'll do great!
