A closed door, I could manage, because I’d hear it open. I rely on sound at least as much as sight to monitor my environment (which also means I get antsy if my hearing is dampened in any way such as with earplugs or headphones, especially if anyone else is in the room). An open door or doorless frame makes me anxious if it isn’t in sight.
