I realised that my comfort foods being mostly rice based would be classed as a majority carbohydrate food, and so I was just wondering what other autistic people's comfort foods would be majority classed as (eg. mostly carbohydrates, mostly lipids or mostly proteins etc...)

What's the definition of "comfort foods"? Some people use this term differently from others.

In my experience, it can be used fairly loosely, but I have come to understand that it means either the food someone chooses to eat when they are experiencing a meltdown or shutdown, or when the food someone chooses to eat on a fairly regular basis (as though it is part of one's routine to consume this food on a daily basis).

Sweets (candy) are my comfort food. It's so relaxing to watch your favourite TV series with sucking candy. Wait, isn't that common in humans?

Plenty.

In my case, it's usually something crunchy--crispy, flavorful and salty.
Usually oily like potato snacks, fried meat, or something with popcorn...
Not recommended for anyone with high blood pressure kind of foods.

Mixed with something sweet, maybe a bit bland and creamy.
Usually chocolates, pastries like cake and ice cream...
Not recommended for the prone to diabetes kind.

Sometimes something salty OR tangy-sweet and creamy.
Like some noodles, certain warm soups or certain carbonated drinks or orange juice specifically.
Not recommended for anyone prone to UTI.

It can swing one way another, or after consuming one I'd crave another.

My socially acceptable addictions. :?
It's where most of my own money are being dumped onto. Like 80+% at the time.

...
It's a problem.
It's a wonder why I hadn't even been overweight but it's no surprise because that's just my genetics.
It's a way I cope with all day long very likely on a daily basis chronic stress.
It's unknown what kind of nutrition my body is actually looking for.
It's as inconsistent as my reproductive cycles' hormonal symptoms.

It's a problem.

Comfort foods made with cheap carbs, especially potatoes, rice, and wheat.

My comfort foods are meat-based. I love steak, chops, chicken and ground beef. I love Hamburger Helper.

Cakes, cookies, fudge, ice-cream -- as long as it is chocolate (70% or more cacao), it comforts me.

I'm a big fan of carbs and would be perfectly happy being able to eat rice, pasta, and baked potatoes all the time, but I'm doing keto (except I've been on an unhealthy food bender for over a month since my birthday  ), so my thing I usually make for myself will be a combination of black beans, egg, maybe bacon or chicken, cheese, hot sauce, and sometimes will have onion, garlic, jalapenos, and maybe bell pepper or mixed veggies like frozen peas and carrots in it too.

So I guess my ideal comfort foods are carbs, but my diet comfort food is a mix of proteins and veggies and stuff.

I really have nothing. Some things I avoided out of bitterness or texture, but I'll eat basically anything that's common to my various cultures (plural as lots of different European countries have and had an influence on what I ate and eat). I'm quite easy to please when it comes to foods, apparently.

I prefer freshly made stuff, though.

A lot of my "comfort food" is protein-based, I guess? I've never really thought about what specific group of macronutrients they fall into. lol
