I've been scrambling to find a diagnostic evaluation, trying to figure out how to pay for it. This past week I was referred to a study that includes a diagnosis and theyed pay me! God is good. Some of you suggested this and thank you so much. Anyone else experience this? Any warning signs to watch out for? Its supposed to be 40 and over. They also include an MRI. Isn't that primarily used for children??

That looks like good value for money. I didn't know MRI was used to help diagnose ASD at all. More information on possible concerns of being subjected to one here:

If you have metal dental work of any kind, you might want to look into that too, e.g. ask your dentist if it'd be safe for you to have a MRI scan. I've read stuff saying it's nothing to worry about, but I've also seen stuff from people who aren't so sure.

MRI is not used in diagnosis----but it's used in research.

Ah, that makes more sense.
