How many ASD was mistakenly diagnosed with ADD before getting final HFA - High-functioning autism

Are you sure it was a mistake? It may have been an incomplete diagnosis. Its possible, In fact PROBABLE to have both conditions.

I'm diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, but ASD was identified first.

I have ADHD and ASD, and I was diagnosed with just ADD/ADHD both times I was assessed.

It was recently suggested that I have ADHD by a therapist. I think I and showing signs of both.

Yea, it's not unusual to have ASD and ADHD. I think I might have both. (May get an ADHD assessment to confirm.)
