As medical studies are beginning to confirm, the removal of a child's tonsils can, in some cases, significantly improve, even cure, severe hyperactivity often diagnosed as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD.

That was actually pretty interesting. I had never heard of that before. And I voted, I have tonsils, but not hyperactivity.

Both my oldest son and I have no tonsils but are a bit hyperactive and youngest has his tonsils and is hyperactive. =P Guess that is flawed logic. =P

When I was six Years old my tonsils were taken out, I hemorrhaged and had to
receive a blood transfusion. This alone could have aggravated any neurological
issues I had at the time. I was hyper throughout childhood and early teen years.

Children with bad tonsils often suffer from sleep apnea. If a person can't get a good night's sleep, it can mess things up. A lot of kids are misdiagnosed with a variety of learning disabilites as a result of sleep disturbances causes by bad tonsils.
