Overthinking and lost on doing this job and my business help

I’m am writer/actress and trying to start my business. I have autism and change can be hard for me. I have been offered work to start in a school as a TA which is full week days.Now I have to cancel my morning hobbies.cake class as I am building better skills to do that. I’ve moved in a new house with housemates and feel i need work for side money. I’ve now been offered to do I two week business course but that means I need to take the two weeks off work which I know I lose the job as its agency work. I need to do this course as its structured and may help me. Any advice?

It sounds like you have a lot of irons in the fire. It can be tough to choose which one to keep and which ones to cut loose. A two week business class may not be as helpful as one might think. There is a volunteer organization of retired business people that might be able to help you around your own schedule

It can also be helpful to visit similar businesses and ask them about how they solved the various problems they encountered.

I have read your post but I do not completely understand. In my life when I reached your age, I had developed many skills. I began working part time jobs around the age of 11 or 12. Over my lifetime, I have performed many different types of work and as a result my knowledge base grew and grew.

So it sounds like you have a beginning position full time job as a full time teaching assistant. This is a good entry level position. It could be the beginning of a career. But is seems that you want to throw it away for a two week training course.

So do you think you might perform well as a teacher. It can be difficult work. But you can gain many valuable skills especially during the first few years. They are opening a door for a lifelong career.

If you want to consider another type of career, perhaps take the two week training course during the summer when school is out. That way you can do both. So do both.

My ambition is to build my own business in the acting/writing industry not be a teacher. I do find it rewarding helping others but its money for the time being and me setting a structure. Also its agency work and until the end of the school year. I don't think you understood my topic.

What type of business are you planning? A talent agency?

I suggest your number one focus is to get all the skills you can now and may all the connections you need now. You will never be younger. If you need money while you are learning your skills get a job as wait staff so your days will be free.
Being a TA might seem interesting and easy money but it doesn't get you any closer to your goal.

Whatever your business in that industry, you are going have to mask like hell.
