alright this topic is gonna be a litte racey and too hot to handle but does anyone have an obsession with selling used cds only to buy them back again? i have a nasty habbit of buying to many cds only to resell them! this has got to stop son, because the next time i get paid i only go back to buy the same exact cd. should i seek out some kindof professional help for this major malfunction?

usually i only get $5 if the cd has no scratches and is a big time act/ but in most cases i only get $3 or $2 because i listen to mostley underground blackmetal acts.

Actually no. I buy them, and then rip them to mp3 format, then sell them off and use the cash proceeds to buy more CD's.

I've got about 600 CD albums now, I think. What that doesn't show is the number that I've bought, sold, and then in some cases bought back again! I reckon about 1,200 CDs have passed through my hands in the last 10 years.

The main rule is, don't reconsider. I've had regrets and bought things again and invariably they've still been rubbish the second time around. I refer to the obscure parts of Fu Manchu's back catalogue, "Bricks are Heavy" by L7 and every Ride album except "Going Blank Again".

I do this with DVDs  I buy loads then end up short of money and end up having to sell some off again, only to realise at a later date I want to see them again so I buy them back again

You can rip your cd's onto Window's Media Player or itunes is pretty straightfoward to download.

For a second there I read the thread title as "reselling used cats?"

Anyway, I don't really sell anything, ever.

I got my cat recycled. He was shooed out of an old man's home that had passed on. Some kind soul noticed him and got him to C.A.T.S where I just happened to be looking for a cat last year and I brought him home. I would not do it, however, for sake of topic, I suppose I could be interested in the reselling of used cats.

PS sorry about your status as CannonFodder, however, at least they call you 'Sir'.

Have you seen those mobile's made from CDs? NOT cats, CDs, SirCannonFodder. The mobiles look like fish with the CDs to make scales. Then, you hang them from your deck and they're reflective in the sunlight. They're the like pink yard flamingos but flashier.

Just a suggestion....

I buy Cds, DVDs when I don't like them or have had enough of them I throw them away in the bin can't be bothered to sell them and then about 2 weeks later regret and then buy it again.
