What adjectives (negative, positive, or neutral) have been used by NTs when commenting on your behaviour (presuming you're an aspie!)? To start the ball rolling, I have been called in the past:

gormless !

I want to get a feel for how NTs perceive aspies.

what does adjective mean?
hope it means words as that is what am about to do..
am not aspergan [am kanners autistic],but am usually get called something by them every day am out,due to this area of manchester-however nice it is in places [stretford], being full of these abusive children and teenagers.
have been called:
"forrest gump" and "cripple" -by some girls at a bus stop opposite the mall, they used to shout that at am,every morning when mum was taking am to college, am did not know what they meant by forrest gump until am found out it was to do with that man walking oddly,am walk very oddly,it is known as part of the spectrum but am wonder if am could have undiagnosed mild CP],found out they went to mannor high school in sale, which is a special school for children who misbehave and have been expelled mostly, with some genuinely SN children in there.

"ret*d"-group of children near where am live, they saw am flapping and rocking on the pavement with a cat curled up on knee, also non autism related but the same group also call am "ginger" because am have ginger hair, why do people do that when it is so obvious to am that it is ginger, having had it for over twenty years, idiots.

"pyscho"-by a group of teens watching am meltdown in the park, due to kids screaming [they usually not there and its where am run to get away from all that as its very open with lots of green and trees to watch].one of the staff caught up with am to try and stop am attacking self, the kids stood there watching and apparently then said am was a "prostitute" and was giving J. a "blowjob" because am was rocking violently [he told am what they said later, and what they meant, they don't sound similar at all],a stranger man came along and asked if J. wanted help and if am was alright.

"penguin"-by a group of boys,it was because of the way am walk, and the way penguins walk [apparently being similar].

"lesbian"/"transexual"-because am do not have the same awareness of people that others have,am do not have the same boundaries, and will wear whatever am want even when people say 'it is for boys',this has always got the lesbian and transexual insults [not that lesbian and transexual are insults, but am not gay or transexual,am asexual-part of autism and aspergers for many].

Since you asked.....

Cyberborg, '7 of 9'

catatonic

mad scientist

psycho

'kitty cat' or 'puppy dog' (NOT in a nice way)

KingdomOfRats - You're not any of things and I will officially negate those adjectives for you! Instead, I would call you a friend with pretty ginger hair.

I've said a few names about aspies in the day when I used to deny that I had it.

These are what I used to say

Freak
Very very v strange
People of the mental institute

There was another but it was reference to a certain class in my school it was called Pre-vocation (unfortunatly I was put in it) the class was shorted down to Pre-voc
This was the name

Inspector Pre-voc as in Inspector Gadget.
