Idk if it's related to autism but...

My life energy is running low recently. I had goals but now it doesnt feel like I can achieve

Being jobless, not having a social life, not having a friend, plus having no intention or desire to socialize... The one that disturbs me the most, is the first one. But not having much of a social life and low communication also affects every thing. I can't get a job in my field. Wish I was not too reluctant on talking with people and i wish i liked them more

I may have lagged behind in life, maybe worse than a lot of you, but the bigger problem is I don't see much hope for future

Wish me good luck

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. A lot of autistic people are in the same boat. It's not your fault you're jobless or friendless. Stick around here, we'll all understand and support you.

I am sorry that you are experiencing this. It is very difficult. What is your field?

Computer programming
Fortunately, computer programming is a field that works well for many Autistics. Are you in the US? If you are, there is an agency called OVR, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. They are the best resource for helping you get and keep a job if you are disabled and unemployed. Your Autism qualifies you to receive their services. It is a free service and what they do is help people like us get and keep jobs. I was with them for about two years. It's an excellent service. Unfortunately, I only know that they are in the US. I don't know how that sort of thing works in other countries. I believe they have similar services in the UK and Australia and other countries like like that but I don't know anything about them.

I’m sorry you’re feeling down. Being jobless is a real hit to the self-esteem.

The referral to Vocational Rehabilitation is worth checking out if you are in the US.
