What kind of scams have you been involved in and how much money did you lose?

Ooh this could be fun.

When I was young and naive I once bought a lucky pendant that's guaranteed to increase my personal magnetism. In fact if I didn't get luckier within a few months I could return it for a full refund. The pendant was ugly because it was literally a little piece of magnet. I tried to improve it but just couldn't wear it so I stuffed it in my jeans pocket. Within a month I met my guy and started dating him and we eventually married. So, I didn't return it for refund. I was pretty hot back then and probably didn't need a magnet, but I had no idea.

I used to be into alternative medicine many years ago, in my early twenties. I wasted a lot of money.
