It could be a stim you do if the route is particularly stressful maybe? If you find it helps to distract you for example.
Or because you like this particular walk route and feel more comfortable stimming even in public on this route?
I have been trying to get back to walking since I broke my left fibula in march and I can walk again so I have to walk around in the backyard were there is concrete since a lot of property were I live is dirt. I even do it when I am riding in a car sometimes with a song comes on that I like.
