"seasonal hyperfixations"?

I was thinking about Smash Bros. yesterday and I realized something. this past summer and the summer before last, I've gotten hyperfixated on SSB. I wonder if this will become a yearly thing. is there such thing as a "seasonal hyperfixation"? if so, what would you consider yours to be if you think you have one?

More energetic in summer. Means more energy for games. In winter I'd rather curl up with a good book.
