DISCO autism interview assessment

Has anyone here been through the DISCO autism interview before? Are there specific questions, open-ended questions or a mix of both?

Yes, I was diagnosed using the Diagnostic interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) Abbreviated Version. Additionally elements of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Diagnostic Interview Guide for the Assessment of Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) was used, the latter provided some additional questions and was used to structure elements of my report.

It was a mixture of both, but I was asked to elaborate on specific questions to clarify my answer.

DISCO was also used in my assessment, but was just one component of a wider multidisciplinary assessment.

I was diagnosed ASD with DISCO and ADHD with DIVA, I think that makes me a Disco Diva :jester:

Absolutely!

you're a dancing king/queen!

And thus are a prime candidate for.....ABBA therapy! :D

Disco Stu was evaluated under DISCO too.

My Dr just asked me a variety of questions and about my traits and experiences and childhood and stuff, so I'm not sure what she used.

ASD level 1, ADHD-C, most likely have dyscalculia as well. RSD hurts.
RAADs: 104 | ASQ: 30 | CAT-Q: 139 | Aspie Quiz: 116/200 (84% probability of being atypical)

Also diagnosed with: seasonal depression, anxiety, OCD
