I was wondering everyone's opinion on this. I never let my boss know I was on the spectrum when I applied. I only told her when I had a bad anxiety attack and almost passed out, she completely understood and ''takes it easy on me'' because her son is on the spectrum. I was confused because I almost can always ''blend in'' although a little quirky or eccentric

If you disclose it at the interview stage of getting a job, you may be discriminated against and the person responsible for hiring you may choose not to do so because you have disclosed you have autism.

Unless you have severe issues that need accommodating, the best way to get a job is to not mention it until after you get a permanent contract settled. That way, you can bypass any BS discrimination which absolutely does occur.

I almost always have to disclose my autism.
I've had a job where I chose not to disclose it, and it went very poorly.
I need certain accomidations, but make sure not to take advantage of it.
