Books, videos or DVDs on autism? Booklets? Pamphlets? Leaflets? Printouts? eferrals? Prescriptions? Assessments? Bumper stickers? Signs on your house? Posters? Awareness t-shirts or sweatshirts or bracelets? Meds? Vitamins? Special toys (tangle toys, etc)? Special food? Special clothes? Special shoes? Special watch/calendar/timetable/agenda? Special cards you carry around? Newspaper clippings?

We had an assessment from this big-shot buffoon who got it wrong... don't have it any more. Now all the stuff I have that remotely connects to autism is my stim-string, which is just a string that blends in with my stuff, and people don't really know that I still stim...

I have information from "The National Autistic Society NZ". But that is all.

Same. I like to keep my AS incognito and low profile. The only people who know I have it are immediate family, specialists, and other people who have AS.

I have heaps of books - some are biographies, some have therapy ideas

We have heaps of brochures around that I give to people.

My sons have their therapy books with all the notes/pictures/diagrams from the psychologist.

I have lecture notes from a seminar by Tony Attwood I attended.

Then I have a big folder with all the reports from specialists + IEPs.

I really want to get a t-shirt saying 'Cure Neurotypicals Now'. I've seen them advertised on a website.

I own a book on Autism and I guess that's about it. After I finish it, I'm sure I'll buy more in the future.

I'd like to know more about your stim string. It sounds interesting.

I don't have anything of such things. Anyway, I guess, it's not so easy to get them in my country. Maybe only via Internet.

I just have a very old folder filled with documents pertaining to autism and what was known about it when they were written and my parents obtained them, in the late 1980's. Very outdated tho the basic information is always correct and no meansion of anything called aspringers at this time.

these papers were given to my parents by our former neghboor, who worked with the social services dept and was 1 of the very few neghboors who knew about me cause i played with her son when we were little and my parents for whatever reason thought they should know...

A notebook

Apart from being useful because of my poor memory I have lots of stuff in the back pages which act as reminders. If I see a page which says 'remember to say goodbye at the end of a conversation' I might eventually do this naturally. Stuff like that.

ChatBrat-- LOLOLOLOL!1111 My sting string is simply any string that is almost as long as my arm when folded in half... when I lose one I make another one... right now my stim string is a drawstring from a pair of pants. :D

I have a lot of books on autism as well. And of course my diagnostic report which says I'm an aspie. That's all.
