I travelled quite around in my life…
I’m from Germany and I used to live in Oklahoma City as a teenager for a year and later I moved to France, Iceland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and now live in Denmark since a bit over two years now where I bought a nice house.

I was so happy about it and my cat likes the new house too, my job is also good. :D

But since a few weeks severe homesickness hit me.
Interestingly not to Germany where I grew up, but to Austria and the mountains. It was unbearable to me. The entire situation wouldn’t be so difficult if I wouldn’t have bought a house and also my job is alright and the colleges are nice. But I feel like crying every day. I already started to look for jobs and apartments in the region I used to live in Austria and felt silly that I moved away from there.

I’m not sure how to handle the situation. :?

Any advice!?

I started to cook more southern German/Austrian recently what somewhat helped me. :)
I also plan a vacation somewhere in the Alps.
