MRI question and "lesions"
I had an MRI done years ago, as I had a tumor in my pituitary gland. At the time, the person who did the MRI told me that I also had a "lesion" in the back of my brain...and asked if I knew where it came from. I honestly don't recall, but I do remember that one time at work I passed out as I was sitting down and felt almost like a "short circuit/electric shock" in my head...I have never had an epileptic attack, so I'm not sure if that is what caused the lesion..
Have any of you ever been told about lesions in your brain?
No, but I have been treated for a brain tumor back when I was 14-15 (I'm 27 now).
It was removed through surgery, turned out to be benign, and I was deamed cured. I have been on regular check-ups with MRI scans and tests on visual capacity. It has been a while since my last one, and the next one is in 2008. Since the last scan I have been going hrough quite a lot of emotional and developmental changes in my thoughts and/or mind, and I am actually curious to see if it will somehow show up as differences in my future MRI's!
The world of the brain is a fascinating one, it's the host (or at least mirror-image) of all that makes us what we are. Change your brain and you change your world. Or do the opposite, in any case, they will be interconnected!
If nothing else, I got a groovy hole in my head, and chicks dig scars, right?
