Hi. So basically I can now abstract correctly, I think. I used to not be able to do so. As you all are spectrum then you have trouble with it.

Here's how it works.

1) See a man with a red hat.

2) Think about man with red hat inside your mind. This is where the abstract is.

3) Use language and connect images to the man with red hat inside your mind. You could think "red is a bold colour"

4) The guy is now confident because he is wearing something bold.

5) Now have faith and confidence in your thinking to now look at the guy and act as if he is a bold person. Come out of the mind and treat him in the real world.

At this point you are saying "you don't know that!" Yes. But actually examine the terms.

KNOWING is in your mind
LOOKING is with the sense, ie, vision.

Thus what AUTISM means is I haven't SEEN that! But you do KNOW that, because your mind has established that bold people wear bold colours.

Now we get to another objection. "It could be wrong". Yes, it could. this did not mean thinking or minds were always wrong, it meant you got it wrong there. You need to correct it.

Example 2

Abstract thinking. Whats a house? Its a building designed to live in.

Ok so you view the house in your mind typically and think what it looks like. BUT leave out a-typical features. For instance houses dont typically have barbed wire around them. With autism you may think "it could" Actually this misunderstands the difference between the theory and practice.

In your mind the house does not have barbed wire. In a real situation it may -this is an Exception. BUT you DONT put the exception in the abstract house!! ! The abstract house is what you see in your MIND. The exception happens in the WORLD. Not the same thing!

Example 3

Using houses again. When you think of an abstract house, you can think of things about it.
So an abstract house can be lived in.

But theres more.
An abstract house can take in abstract people.
An abstract house has windows that let in abstract sunshine
An abstract house has doors that can open and close

Once you know these 3 facts you store them in your memory. Now when you see a house you already know those three things about them.
