I despise pink ever since I was told I can't like it because they think I'm "high functioning" and need to give up childish things. I feel nausious seeing it like I want to vomit. I even refuse to wear my very, very few pink clothes (who's ever seen pink adult clothes?) or anything that has a spot of pink on it, and I get in trouble when I do. (my shoes are also pink and I can't replace them) I used to really hate green, it's still something I avoid but back then I DESPISED it, but now pink has surpassed green as my most hated color. I want to be goth (or namely, I want to start with being scene) and I wish I had more dark clothes and makeup.

I would ask if this is bait but I am not sure.

So you don't like pink because you were told to not like it? Am I understanding this correctly? It is considered too childish by you?

No one can tell you what to like or dislike. There is nothing wrong with loving or hating the color pink.

True... but it's a rule to them

Read here: viewtopic.php?t=420224

Without pink we wouldn't have flowers. Without pink we wouldn't have the pan flag. Without pink we wouldn't have Sylveon (sorry). Without pink we wouldn't even have organs or tongues.

I don't get it.
It's just a color.

There exists, wearing a pink and feminine dress and shoes that make you more of someone 'your age' and won't make you look like some juvenile playing cutesy princess.

 But if you wanna experiment with black, go on.

Most humans go through that at some point; the idea of dropping 'childish things' in favor of whatever idea of maturity they thought they had to attain.

Whether if it's usually done around teenage years, or go through it in mid 20s and 30s instead...

Still -- it's a milestone.

And who the heck is telling you these things and where do you get such ideas from?

Who the frick is "them"?? Screw them, lol.

Pink is great. I'd love a pink Miata me.

I don't support the latter, but I think Elvis or James Dean was famous for having a pink car

I think Elvis had a pink Caddy.

A lot of my aesthetic preferences with cars are pretty heavily influenced by Japanese aesthetic trends and Japan doesn't seem to stigmatize pink as a 'girly' colour, so it's not uncommon to see pink kaido racers and drift cars.

I always figured a slammed pink Miata (with truck nuts dragging on the ground to show how low it is) was the opposite of all the stupid bro-trucks that are popular where I live.

I used to feel the same way towards the colour yellow. It's too bright and nausiating. I think lighter shades like pastel yellow can be more tolarable but emoji yellow just looks gross. I've sort of gotten over it now but it's still my least favourite colour lol.

^Yellow is the same for me. I get a headache if there's lots of it. I wear blue lenses to counteract the yellow in the environment. Shopping centres often have yellowish lighting.

As for pink, isn't Elmer kind of pink? But then, white people are. We should be called pink.

Yellow is frequently intolerable for autistic people. It's something to do with the wavelength or whatever.

I can't stand white, or anything to do with it. It makes me sick. I dislike yellow a lot but I can manage it if it's the soft creamy kind like butter instead of the bright primary colour like on kids' toys and all autism merch.

I don't mind pink but I'm not the type to wear it or decorate with it.

You are entitled to your opinions =).

I love pink! It is such a happy color for me. I used to be a full on tom-boy as a child (I still have tom-boy tendencies) and I used to be very against wearing feminine clothes and colors. I even wrote down/said my favorite color was black whenever I could. As I got older I realized that this was a product of my upbringing (being shamed for liking girly things/internalized misogyny/wanting to be unique and different from my peers/dad telling me I'm not allowed to wear makeup). Now, pink and black are my favorite colors, and dresses are my favorite things to wear!

I only wear clothes that are black, or pink accessories (with the occasional pop of pastel blue).

I'm "high fuctioning/low support/whatever" and as a kid I loved pink. One of the reasons I loved it was because boys hated it and it annoyed them.

I still like pink, but I prefer purple, because it's more "edgy" I guess. Why should I hate something just somebody told me I shouldn't like it? I don't get this peer pressure thing at all.

As a little kid (3-6) I thought pink was awesome, then meh, then at 13 I discovered I was non-binary and avoided ‘feminine’ things at all costs.

Now pink can be a pretty nice color, I think.

I don’t associate colors with ages or genders much anymore, to me, they are colors.

Some people don’t like blue, some people really don’t like blue, and some people adore blue. Different preferences and opinions are okay.
