hit by a car

yesterday saw a pedestrian get hit by a car.

recently, saw/heard plenty of car crashes. car vs car and car vs pedestrian.

makes me afraid of getting hit by a car.

when i am with someone, usually they cross the street against the slight or otherwise outside the intersection. i almost never do that. then they are pressuring me to do it with them. but whatever. i am hardly ever with anyone, especially nowadays.

esp since i work in a parking lot. construction workers often drive pretty badly. frequently they almost hit me with cars and then have the nerve to laugh @ me.

Sorry you saw that sfbum. I hate seeing people get hurt, really messes me up. I think fear of being hit by a car is a rational fear though. Especially if you're working around cars and get frequent demonstrations of poor driving. Just take care out there.
