My friend cannot go out due to sirens, flashing lights and flourescent clothing. She feels imprisoned in her own home and cannot go out without help. I've never met anyone who is like this on the spectrum before so we feel quite along in this.
This is being totally housebound, not just that it's difficult to go out.
