I have a cute little English Wheaton Terrier named Chico. He's about 16 months old. His overcoat is black, ihs under belly is white and he has a beige face and legs. I like to take my little Chico for walks and cuddle with him. We also enjoy playing Frisbee :D

I have a black and white male Fox Terrier named Scotty and a white and tan female Jack Russell named Jessie. They are two of the best dogs a person could ever have, as they are so friendly, loving and playful. Jessie sleeps on my bed at night. I also have a four year old African female peach faced lovebird called Penny. :)

I've got a dalmation named Melody, though I like to call her Smelody. She's the most hyper dog I have ever seen, and is quite prone to "spazz attacks." She's extremely lovable though, and acts as though she is starved for attention (even though she totally isn't).

I'm also fish-sitting my friend's beta for the summer. His name is Fletch, and I think he survives on pure evil alone. The fish is about 2 years old now, and still going strong. He's actually leapt out of the water before and bit my finger when I was trying to feed him!

My favorite animals are cats, I had one up until October of last year, when my wonderful, fat, squishy cat, Socks, passed away ::sniff::. He was probably my best friend, and I still miss him from time to time. He was generally a docile type of guy, but he had a flash temper. We liked to play-fight together, and he always enjoyed getting in the way of my art supplies.

I have a four-year-old (February 24th, 2000) black and white border collie named Rookie. He is very playful and seems to be very smart as he memorizes words after hearing them only once (thus we have had to create words to say that we are going to prepare his food, otherwise he comes running, and gets hyperactive ; now we say things that people would probably not understand, like "to have nobs" - "nobs" comes from the French word "bonbon".). But my parents sometimes cannot stand Rookie (or Rooks, or Rooquignol, or John O'Glew, as my brother gave him all these nicknames - the dog understands them all) because he makes noise and bites the doors when we open them too quickly.

I used to have another dog (a cairn terrier named Intrepid), a cat, fishes, birds, rabbits, etc.

Millie my service dog. She's a beagle/border collie that I got from a shelter when she was four and a hlf months old. Zodiac is our old boy; I don't know how old, becuase we inheritied him from someone that was unable to provide him a good home. We think that he was at least two when we got him, so he is a minimum of 11 years old now. He is a gentle soul and looks like a chow chow german shephard mix. We have five cats, Jezabel, Play Doh, Max, Simba (one of Millie's best buds), and Oleo (as in oleo magarine). Riley, my son's friend's 12 month old pit bull (Millies other best bud, and Little S##t my son's friend's cat. I love them all.

I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 sugargliders.

All except the cat were given to me for the children they belonged to were told they had to get rid of them. It was I who they wanted to give them to, in relief for their grief of having to give them to someone. Lucky me!

:| Cuddles-- 5-year-old cat. Mother of four and grandmother of 6 (there were 8 but two[?] died)(none of her now-adult kittens live with us, though [we gave them all away]). No pictures of her currently available.

:P Billy-- 1-year-old(?) grey cockatiel. One word: obnoxious. No pictures available of this birdbrain.

I also have some fish, but I don't have descriptions for them prepared, let alone photos. Here's some info about them:

I have two Siamese cats, Simon (seal point) and Samson (lilac point). Their littermates who turned 7 1/2 years old on July 6th.

At the moment, they are in their bed to my right.

Siamese have been known to be very annoying and mean, but have become more and more popular. In fact, in the 1990's, they were ranked in the five most popular breeds.

I never heard of a sugar glider before, until I found a picture of one online a moment ago.

That picture of a sugarglider is one of the best I've seen anywhere. They do in fact look like miniature flying squirrels. However, they are marsupials and carry their babies in a pouch. They by far have become my favorite pet as they are odd and fascinating social creatures. The skull is similar to that of a lizard and they suffer some of the same dietary ailments as lizards. They are from New Guinea and have been introduced if they are to be found anywhere else in the world.

I have no idea, personally. I think it's just for decoration purposes.

Chester, a.k.a; Mr. Stinky, Mr. Fuzzy, Fuzzy Winker Bean, Mr. Beaner Man, Ugly Actor, Beastor, and other aliases is my best friend. Also he is my vacuum cleaners worst enemy. I really do walk him 4-6 miles daily! Why? When I was in the first grade my parents got a dog for our family. Like many parents, they told us children that we would have to take care of our new pet. I thought that they really meant it. I realize now that most children are incapable of such a responsibilty and that my parents never expected much of a contribution to the dog's care. When that dog died (and while living) I felt like a failure for not giving him as much attention as I could have given him. So now I have Chester, the most reliable and consistent aspect of my life. Now I understand the prehistoric deal made between man and dog. This is why I walk my dog so far and so often. If the day comes that I have to take him to the vet and hold him in my arms while looking into his trusting eyes and put him to sleep, then I want to know that I took care of him when I had the chance. He takes care of me.

One of my dogs are old enough to be close to the end of his life cycle. I consider myself fortunate that my family taught me death is a celebration of life. The sadness is for those still living who are hurt and grieving in the loss of company in the one who "fell asleep in the lord". Yes, we are the supposed "stupid ones" (as some say) who do believe in the Lord.

In "dog speak", making eye contact with a dog is suppose to be a provocatively intimidating act. My 15 year old daughter would dispute that regarding her dog. It is not advisable to make eye contact and stare down an unfamiliar dog.

Love, Peace, & Auspie Rock,
