Most times I genuinely feel that some NT's out there are very threatening for my mood... although once in a while I'll exaggerate this...

I must admit I did. Many times. I've even my own, private name for an NT - neurotypol. It's an expression coined by me :D from a word:"typowy" what in my native language means "typical".

It must be very convenient for some people to have a group on whom they can blame most of their problems.

It's interesting how common spelling errors are.

Just remember, you don't speak for everyone, just yourself, (Curse word).

YEAH, WOW! People have blamed their problems on people of my race/sex, NOW I find I am part of an even SMALLER minority!

It is a pity I couldn't simply be diagnosed and step in line. I was almost fired because some IDIOTS claimed I was racist and hated them because I rested my arms in the SAME way I have since I was a baby!! If I was diagnosed AS, it would be seen AT WORST as a SYMPTOM! Sadly, it is a minority that is looked down upon as a bad SICKNESS to be feared, rather than a people that might even deserve respect!

I don't tend to use it in a derogatory way, unless I have and I never noticed it... but really, I just see them having just as many problems reading us as we have with them. It isn't a matter of NT vs. Aspie for me, it's just a matter of people having misunderstandings with other people... on different levels.

I didn't even know the term NT until I joined here. Up until then I always thought of them as the "normal people" and myself as "certifiably raving bonkers".
I guess that means the answer to your question is "no".

We shouldn't be alienating ourself from NT's since we're pretty much the same race. Even if we don't understand them and they don't understand us. I'm just sick of getting pissed every time there is a misunderstanding. We just have to deal with it. Patience and tolerance seems to be the key. I admit it takes some effort though. :(

Of course I've used the term derogatorily. I very much derogate NTs.

I've caught myself once or twice... mostly when feeling particularly wounded by a group of happy, trendy, popular, social people.

No and I don't think of it as derogative.
