i say, chaps - any chance we could keep to good ol' black for posts? there seem to be qute a few variegated posts of late, and - to use the vernacular - they do my head in. as do the majorly large fonts.

hate to be didactic about this, but i tend not to read posts in rainbow hues, etc.

anyone else feel this way, or am i just a miserable, spoily woily, piss-on-your-parade misanthrope?

I usually skip long posts that blend into the background.

I agree, it's very annoying! If it's hard to read, I don't read!

I don't read long posts no matter what colour they are.

I only don't read coloured posts that are hard to read, and larger and smaller fonts are annoying, too.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I don't mind odd coloured fonts, so long as there is some contrast with the background,
nor do I mind odd font sizes, except of course for this one ABC.

Are you referring to my color choice? I particularly like my color choice and don't find it blends into the background excessively. My favorite color is and always has been green. The majority of my shirts are green; my bedroom has green carpet and green walls; my website has a green background; and, well, I just like green! On low color-depth settings and certain screens, the shade of green I have chosen might contrast too little with the background colors used on the forums here; I don't know.

My font color isn't a problem to anyone, is it? Let's celebrate individuality!

I don't even read multi-colored posts (NeantHumain's are fine though, for me - I love green! :D ). I also skip posts written in AlTeRnAtE CaPs and 1337.

I have a difficult time reading black (or grey) typing a lot of the time, so I use dark blue. It's hard for me to read anything that's not a dark color and instant messaging language. I like some decoration and uniqueness, but a single color is enough for one post, unless I'm really trying to make a point about something.
