The time has come for me to embark on the journey of journeys. Tomorrow morning I leave for parts unknown. I don't know when I'll get there, but I know I'll get there eventually. I can finally leave my past behind me and look to the future. I assure all of you that I'll be alright, and when I get there, I'll be back in contact.

This shall be the last time we talk with each other. I shall make contact again as soon as possible.

"The journey of journeys" "don't know where I'm going or when I'll get there"....

Sounds scary. I don't know this fella' but this sounds like a suicide note to me. Maybe someone who knows the OP better can comment?

Not very many suicides say that they will get back in touch as soon as they can.

Well, it was also said "this will be my last time here" and there's been a great deal of talk on WrongPlanet about ghosts, etc.

It was just how it was sounding to me.... like I said, I hope someone knows the guy better and knows a bit about what this mysterious journey is about - like a hermitage of self-discovery or something...?

All the best on your trip, Scoots - wherever you're going! (Just do what it takes to keep on livin'!) ;)

The first thing I thought of when I read it was that he was suicidal. He said this is the last time we talk with each other but he will make contact again as soon as possible. That only makes sense if you're talking about dying and then coming back in spirit form. And this post was too vague. Too mysterious, as someone else pointed out. Does anyone have his phone number so they can check on him?

The aborigines in Australia do this kind of 'walk-about' from time to time. The wanderlust hits, and it's time to go.

Happy trails to you...
