Feeling rather compelled to say, but the more I read , the more I am feeling rather....at home.

Insane to know that I have not ever once questioned myself until my daughter's dx and the signs are everywhere.

Each time I have come across someone that is understanding, on the same wave length, has the same interests or "creative" flair etc I have always expressed my interest in growing our own culture, but instead, I will extend the invite 'round here.

Anyhow, thanks for the welcoming environment. I am going to grab a cup of java and cozy up :D

I am experiencing the exact same thing. It only took me saying "My son and I are so much alike" about a thousand times before I said, "Hey, wait a minute..." And it just seems to fit more and more the more I read.

I am going for an assessment on October 22nd. Will have the official then.

That will only make me more confident, but until then...I am comfortable

I'm the same way. The more I read, the more I realized that my daughter is just like me. My psych says that I probably am on the spectrum due to my symptoms, history, and my daughter's official diagnosis, but that's as close to an "official" diagnosis I'll seek. It's enough for me.
