Larry King is on right now...8pm central.Once again,they are only telling part of the story,a mother whose child has autism,she says was caused by vaccination and recommends ABA,diet therepy,etc...says he is now "cured".When asked if she knew any adults with AS....said no and changed the subject,quick.

I wrote in an email question..."Why dont you ever have adults with AS on your show?We are out here and can speak for ourselves.....I ask that anyone else please write in/call in and set him straight on some of the misconceptions he is broadcasting.I am so sick of this s**t.We need to start our magazine soon and clear up some of these stereotypes promoting CAN/DAN.

My mom just called to tell me it's on. She isn't too happy about what they are saying. I don't have cable which is good. I would probably just get angry! There is a thread in the parent's forum about this, too. I don't have time to go on a serious rant so I'll leave it alone!

I just e-mailed Larry King, and asked, "why not have actual people with aspergers and autism on the show. Let them speak for themselves? Well, I asked, we'll see.

I know, I was amazed at how fast she changed the subject on that one. I guess she hasn't found WP yet.
