I have noticed as of late I am becoming ultra sensitive to static and high pitched frequencies and very low ones
I have noticed it most when it is silent but now I can tine into it , it feels like layers and if I concentrate I can go deeper

I'd go in & tell your doctor about this. It could be any number of things - possibly nothing to worry about at all, but best to know for sure.

Well, I can tell if a TV is on down the hallway even if the screen is dark. No random static though.

I have that too, and I also see dim, almost imperceptible flashing in my eyes when they're closed. I always assumed that was normal, though, the result of random brain activity in the sense regions.

I have the same thing. Sometimes, and it used to be always, it pulses almost like a green band of lights down a tunnel!

Is this the same thing as you are describing - When it's completely silent (well, as silent as anything can be), and there is no electrical equipment on, I can hear what sounds like bees buzzing in the walls. Sometimes it is louder than others, but it is very hard to tolerate and since I usually hear it at night (that's when most things are silent), and it actually keeps me awake.

I've always heard this extremely high pitched buzzing noise when in complete scilence ever since I can remember...and now I am starting to hear it even when there is background noise. I have no idea why though.

You are STARTING to get colour? What do you think triggered it?

If anything, white noise is soothing to me... my parents have been going on and on about trying to get one of the 10 box fans out of my room... and all of them are running...

It's clock ticking that sets me off to no end...

I was sensitive to noise for a long time but strangely I got a pair of those construction work ear mufflers and after a few weeks, I now don't care about noise when I am not wearing them. Isn't that weird? I think the noise was attached to emotional trauma from abuse because I developed the anxiety about the noise at a few years old and that by that time I noticed my nt mother wasn't quite right. I noticed noise more but miraculously, I am now immune to noise. I feel great. The headset cost about $20. Also, you could try those gaming ear buds that block noise completely or muffle noise so it is not as harsh.
