Well, it's Saturday night. I've been feeling kind of aspie...again! Do you guys ever get that feeling: a little left of autistic but still far to the right of NeuroTypicality? I almost can't explain it; but I think you guys might, well maybe, understand.

I feel so blasé, almost at the mark of encyclopedic. In a way it's beyond reckoning. It's a basic feeling rather than a wholly comprehended thought. I presume I could analyze the world--if only I had the time and wherewithal--yet I would avail myself of le néant, nihil, nothing.

I feel almost smitten by la raison c'est fou. It's quotidian yet............not. It's a journey between the here-and-apparent and the here-and-gone. I cannot describe it any other way.

Moi aussi, je pense..?

I usually solve the "problem" by sleeping, because the only "solution" to this (if I'm accurately understanding what you're talking about?) for me would be to take leave of my body and go wandering about exploring things unhindered...which I can't do, of course. :(

No, sweets - because I'm afraid I wouldn't come back.

My reason behind those three posts was that I had no idea what he was trying to say because it was almost as if he was speaking a diferent language. Can someone translate what he said into really simple English? Too many fancy words.

I sometimes feel Autistic when I see a movie with someone who is. Strange, huh?

The most I feel autistic is when I get giddy and I start getting excited and rocking and flapping and I know it looks so ODD but I just can't help myself. The giddiness is too much to contain!

For instance, today I was over at my mother's house and watching one of my favorite programs on BBC America called Cash in the Attic (I have become hopelessly and strangely addicted to this show and I do a little dance every time it comes on). And today it was an incredibly exciting show. They made over 6,000 pounds more than intended leaving the total at 12,400 pounds! (Sorry, I don't know how to make the pound sign on here). And when all the bidding was going on in the show at the auctions, I was absolutely giddy. And I couldn't contain myself and was just rocking and bouncing and flapping to my heart's content.

That is when I tend to feel my most autistic-- when even I have to shake my head at how ridiculous I can get but still can't seem to control myself.

Not particularly. When I watch Rainman I tend to feel a LOT more autistic. Until the movie wears off. And even though I own it, I try not to watch it too often because it has that effect.
