Ok, this is something I'm hoping people will provide some similar results as my own. Does anyone have bizarre dietary tastes? I don't mean veggie, vegan or whatever, I mean an obssession with a particular food, or weird combinations that NTs really frown upon. For me personally, I used to be hooked on Lucozade (fizzy sports drink) after I had ME, for like 6 years, until I realised that was giving me mouth ulcers.

I really enjoy peanut butter with sandwich spread. I don't know if this is available outside the UK, but it is like salad cream with the salad still in it.

Also, and this one freaked a few people out, a sausage sandwich made of cream teas (scone, jam and cream). It was that good.

I find these things perfectly normal, as its all going the same way, right?

I dunno. I think the only weird food related thing I do is done when I drink tea, which is pretty often. I make my tea and then take the sugar bowl and just pour sugar into my tea. I guess I put the equivalent of about ten to fifteen spoonfuls of sugar into it. It weirds people out, but that's the way I like my tea.

I'm also obsessed with reuben sandwiches. I swear its the most delicious hot sandwich known to man. I'm hooked on XXX flavor Vitamin Water, too.

Bagel Bites. I eat them almost daily. Also I carry a bottle of water with me whenever I leave the house. Whenever I go to a restaurant with my family I get either steak, crabcake, or a bacon cheeseburger, with a water. Pretty much my parents could tell you exactly what I want from a given restaurant by the name of the place. I'm not actually very picky, but I don't seek variety, either.

Obsession: Pineapple. You cannot take it away from me.
Combination: I like to break untoasted nori sheets into squares, cover a plate with them, top whem with flax oil and Celtic Sea salt, and eat them by hand, accompanied by white tea. Several times every day. I improvised it one day in 2002 and fell in love. I have gotten my lover addicted to it as well.

I have weird food combos. I used to eat vanilla ice cream on bread - a literal ice cream sandwich. Steak sauce on green beans. Uncooked oatmeal in milk with maple syrup and cinnamon. Frozen Cool-Whip. Dunking a bagel into yogurt. Dipping any kind of vegetable into boiling salt water or chicken broth for just a few seconds, then eating it.

I can't say I have too many weird "dietary tastes," but I am one of those people who puts ketchup on EVERYTHING. I have met two other people like me in my lifetime - who also put ketchup on white rice, ketchup on every type of sandwich, ketchup on fish, ketchup on mashed potatoes, ketchup on noodles, etc. - so I know it's not unheard of.

aww I thought it was going to be about Strange Old Brew..
Anyway, Ive noticed that they flip out about mustard and ketchup on pizza, its so good! My parents have been fixated on providing "normal" food so I havent had a lot to work on in terms of experimentation :/
Keep the ideas coming though, they sound interesting

Well, I guess I'm more weird in what I don't eat. I don't really likes sauces. At all, with just a few exceptions (ex. ketchup on French fries). I eat sandwiches/burgers plain, or with a scraping of mustard. Any kind of mayo, ketchup, or other kind of dressing on a sandwich grosses me out. I don't like the squishiness of it. Same reason why I can't stand tomatoes or pickles (and I'm obsessed with pickles on their own) in sandwiches- I can't stand the squishing. I even scrape tomato sauce off of things like ravioli and stuffed shells, and I eat spaghetti plain with no sauce. I also will wipe off larger clumps of tomato sauce off of pizzas, and I really prefer white pizza because there is no sauce. I don't really like too much variation in texture at all in what I am eating, so I don't like most of the weird things people put on sandwiches (peppers, mushrooms, etc.) When faced with a stir-fry, I pick it apart and eat it one ingredient at a time.

I know lots of people who put ketchup and salsa on eggs (*shudder*), but the other one sounds pretty weird.

I love ketchup, too. not on everything, per se, but it's on all my sandwiches and on other things, too.
But my big thing is spinach. I've loved it since I was a kid. I enjoyed getting spinach in my thermos for lunch at school and the other kids thought that was gross. I love spinach dishes and I feel I could live on the stuff. I had it yesterday at Perkin's too! My favorite vegetable and food!

My main food "thing" is actually more of aversions to textures. For example, I cannot tolerate cherries or raisins because of the way they feel when I bite on them. I cannot take hot or cold food. I like it luke warm. Also, I much prefer soft foods over hard or crunchy foods. And of course almost anything with chocolate. My weirdest? Fish fillet drizzled with chocolate sauce. Yummy! Hmm...now I'm hungry!
