You're in a store that's empty and you turn around a few minutes later and it's brimming with people? It's almost like you're a people magnet?

No. I have never had that happen to me.

as a college student i had worked once in a grocery store for one month. i had observed that people come in to shop in waves. and yes, i did think that maybe one mind can be stronger and therefore bring the other minds along :). like you get an idea to go shopping and after that some other people get the same idea just because of you. therefore it is good to go shopping right after you have the idea because if you wait a little, the other people get there before you and you end up having to wait in queue in order to pay :)

It's uncanny how this works. At first i thought it was a fluke but it checked out in almost 100% of the time. Your advice is amazing and something I think will work. I'm going to try it. :)

If I am walking through a car park, you can almost guarantee that a car will start up as I walk past. Not just before. Not just after. When I am exactly in front of the car. It's like they think they can get me faster or something. Although the empthy/full store thing normally happens to me at the fuel station. Place has been empty for about half an hour something, and then they all just follow me in. I know my name means leader of the people, but that is just ridiculous.

When I first noticed the car thing, it was a case of "hmm, that car started at the exact moment I walked past. How odd". After about a year of this it was enough to cause a meltdown because I would get upset thinking it was personal, like they knew it was me coming or something. Persistance got me through that one, mind, now I ust growl at the driver. :)

Considering I do my best to avoid people, they seem to work harder at finding me.

I'm a total hider of people in real life. Reclusive and in hiding most of the time - only because it's just too overwhelming for me to be *out there* with the sensory onslaught. But yeah - this state of being magnetic (?) and the thoughts that come with it - sure do wonders for a nice case of *they're all out to get me!*

No, but my mom used to work at the Walmart she and I frequent, and her former coworkers will randomly approach us and start talking to her out of the blue, and it makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Er, nothing really bad happened as a result, it's just weird and not yet understood fully as a phenomenom.
