many people seem to think the 2 faiths are total opposite and but they are most alike in organization, down to canvasing their faith to others, who else thinks same?

yeah it would seem that way, as I heard on a show, the mormons own the Boyscouts of america

:( ...i hope i am not "many people" because i do not think i said they are "total opposites" just that they are not the SAME, which is entirely different, and i agree that they have organizational similarities.

That's actually not true, the Boy Scouts organization is still a seperate group, it's just that the LDS church happens to sponsor a lot of troops. Incidentally, there are plenty of Boy Scout troops that are sponsored by other churches.
