Anything that turns, spins, chimes, waves in the wind - I love - especially if they're combined with some geometric pattern. Ah Perfection. I'm gonna start posting some cool photos of kinetic art that really rock solid. Please feel free to post some beautiful air driven pieces as well. <whoosh, cling>Image

The silent ones are fine, but the ones that continuously make a noise drive me NUTS ! !! !

There, I feel better now :D

When I wa a kid I loved wind chimes. I collected them. I had a colorful Chinese set with five different-colored metal pagodas (green, red, yellow, purple and blue, I think) with a little bell on each of the five sides of them and five chimes hanging from the lowest one, a set that were shaped like owls, I made a few amateurish sets, my father had a set of big, heavy brass or copper ones, my grandmother had a dainty little set with bells and chimes, all brass, I think... my father also made another set that he never finished, out of some old pipes...

Chimes was one of my obsessions. I forgot to add that one to my past-obsession list!
