I alluded to this in another thread. People often describe my mannerisms as "stiff", "awkward", or "twitchy". I know one or two people who actually call me "twitchy" as a nickname, as in "Hi Twitchy!"

Is this an aspergers thing? Does this happen to any of you?

Some do, but not all of them.

I don't have any of them anymore.

I only think i've been called 'twitchy' because of my tics. Some of my hand mannerisms have been described as 'sharp and quick' but I don't even notice half the time!

The closest I came to that was almost a tickle that ran between my spine and shoulder blades. I don't think anyone ever noticed. I would sometimes flinch like a week shrug. I think that disappeared around 10yo.

I randomly twitch for no reason. it ranges from a tiny muscle in my finger that will barely even cause my finger to move, to my entire arm jerking. I never figured out what it was. Is it a sympton if Asperger's?

Yeah... I twitch and shake sometimes, when around a girl I like...
Which is strange because it accentuates something - it's a bit deluding - I'm not that scared lol.

I wouldn't call myself 'twitchy', but my hands tremble an awful lot whether I'm excited or anxious.
