Somtimes I noticed even though im 25 and I'm married. I feel like a little kid is living inside of me..I feel as if im between 5 to 12 yrs old at times...I love playing with lego's,coloring, watching disney channel. Yet, the other half of me is/wants to be more mature but I seem to fail at getting myself there..Does anyone esle ever feel like you have this little kid living inside but mybe don't let out because either 1.your afarid of what others might say or 2.think that you can't :?:

:D

I agree.... at 33 I'm the King of Cartoons and love childlike things (provided they're not vapid!) On the same ticket, I can have more sage maturity than most people twice my age. Like about seeing the big picture and doing the right thing....

Sometimes I feel like I'm just playing in a grown up world. I can't get myself past 16-21. I still feel like I'm doing something naughty that I'm going to get in trouble for when I order wine with dinner when I'm out...and I've been legal for 8 years! Occasionally it also catches me when I am out buying diapers and grocries that I feel as if I am playing house, so to speak. I wonder if everyone feels that way.

I certainly love getting in touch with my very young childhood, such as Disney movies and Super Nintendo for example, because they were the good times in my life. Usually doing this makes me feel good. As far as immaturity goes, I believe I may be in some ways in the eyes of an NT, but thats their opinion.

There are parts of me that are definitely childlike. I can still enjoy movies like, "The Parent Trap," and "Lady and the Tramp," along with many books that I enjoyed between ages 8 and 13. Like another poster here mentioned, I feel naughty if I enter a liquor store, and almost expect someone to question my right to buy alcohol. I also hesitate to share my sense of humor with anyone but family, because some things that strike me as humorous, may seem immature to others.

I feel inside like my age for the most part, and only recently has this been the case. I used to feel younger on the inside, but kinda changed a bit this year, i think with the realization im not 'young kid' anymore changed my perspective on things.

oh, I feel, act and sound about 50.
I'm 20.

Back 2 years ago when I was in hospital one of the nurses guessed my age at 30. I suppose I looked rough.

I sometimes (definately not always) feel like an old man on his deathbed waiting to die having done everything he needed to do in life.

I feel like a man-child most of the time, and my action-figure collecting and video-gaming habits would seem to support this theory.
