If there was a test that can turn you into NT and wear off in like 3-5 hours, would you take it? Would you want to see what it feels like to be NT? Or would you just ignore it and go on with your day?

I would ignore it, the curiousity of being NT will always be there, but I rather not even bother.

I wouldn't take it. I like myself the way that I am.

Ive always been curious by nature. I too have always wondered what it is like to experience the world thru the eyes of an NT. Because I al also so mild on the spectrum, i just wonder how much difference their would be between the too different experiences.

interesting question, but i dont know that it has an answer, as it would involve shutting off part of your mind, activating others. once it wore off, the inverse would be true; perhaps that NT experience part would be locked away from you.

Other than that, I would say hell yeah. I like me how I am, but i am always willing to understand what life is like from someone elses perspective. I would jump at the chance to see life from the perspective of anyone unlike me. A black, Asian, skinny, fat, maybe even female. The understanding to be gained would be terrific.

If it was temporary, I'd take it, no question! You CAN beat 'em, if ya join 'em just long enough to get how they think.

I'm a very curious person and I would try it to see what I am like if I like myself as an NT lets hope I don't get addicted. I like the way I am and I know that I have my own unique personality.

I would end up enjoying it too much. I would have what ever friend I wanted, and be successful, living out whatever dream I put my mind to. No one would ever be able to stand in my way.
However I would love to just be myself, and still be able to do those things. But it will never happen.

Sure. I am curious and if the effects are totally irreversible without irreparable harm, why not? I observe from the outside, so I would do the experiment.

Um, does this 'experiment' involve a hard whack to the head though? In that case, no.

Besides, later, I would have something to brag about! Sort of like the 'mile-high' airline club, of which I'm not a member. And, yes, this would be an opportune time to schedule, say, a job interview! Good idea! Except when the employer finds out it's just a Jekyl and Hyde transformation......explain that!

That being said, I'm not a lab rat. I don't just subject myself to anything. But, irreversible and harmless - sure. For the sake of research, of course.

Yes I would because I am curious to see what it's like and I would see how aspie I really am.

I've taken it. Its called being slightly drunk.

Or its called working in a pub surrounded by drunk NTs.. you get some really good insights into how .. odd the NT world is, without seeming Aspie about it, because YOU arent drunk, and their perception of you is shot to hell by booze.
