At my worst, about 8.
To reach 9/10 some real horrible stuff would have to happen to me... the sort of stuff that would keep me down and no sign at all of the good side of the manic swings...

Right now, about 3. A bit of a danger of going up... it's always in danger of being worse... being a fellow aspie, I swear we can be more deceptable to wounding... because of our strange minds.

Hmmm... id say a 3 or 4, while I had a good childhood and do well as an adult I was teased and bullied alot and often feel like people have done me wrong, of course im not sure how that ties into phycological theory of 'the wounded self' which usually deals with childhood experiences right?

been a few years...

One of the things that has been preoccupying my mind in the last few years has been the subject of core wounds to the psyche and how life bounces off, on or around the grooves trauma leaves. All it takes is a similar *frequency* (see also experience) that triggers the memory that resonates with the initial core trauma and there you have perpetuated wounding.

That said, I'm going through the theorizing experientially (natch) and while observing, I get triggered, pull myself back and rationalize and then use free will choice where to put the new experience thus creating a brand new positive memory (groove) where the wounding (trauma) used to be. Next time a potential trigger emerges it no longer has the devastating effects as in the past. Hard work though.

For me now - with really deep, deep scars - I'd say about a 5.

9.

The only reason I don't say 10 is because I'm not entirely broken.

3 or 4. I've let a lot of stuff go by forgiving myself and others and putting the past in the past as a reference base. That allowed a lot of healing.

That.s really something I'd like to do but never could. There have been so many perps in my life - it's overwhelming.

1, I've missed out on a lot due to being completely niave to the fact that people were doing it and am now extremely behind in terms of adult experiences. I also am odd socially but not cripplingly so, I'll just have a hard time when I graduate and look for full time work. Overall I can still walk and am in ok health and am apparently cute (so I was told yesterday) and am doing ok career wise (though for what purpose I don't know) and live in a very well-off country and have people who will look out for me if anything ever does get too bad so I can't complain.
