Whenever I see a movie with an accent different from mine (in English), I end up speaking it for a few hours or maybe days afterwards.

My older son has always been eerily gifted at picking up accents, including hard ones like an East Indian or a Scottish accent.

I like to imitate Leslie Nielsen characters.

I do that all the time! I now know how to speak a perfect posh English accent (thanks to Charlie and Lola) even though I live in Indiana. I can also do valley girl, southern, and north eastern, and use French and Spanish accents as well.

I do it unconsciously. While studying abroad, I actually convinced a few Germans that I too was German, and not an American exchange student. I'll sound slightly British for a few days after watching too much Doctor Who as well.

Because it's unconscious mimicry, I have to actively suppress it at times, lest whoever I'm talking too think I'm making fun of them.

I always imitate the kind of speech of whoever I am around unconciously, and believe me, I pull it off very well. Sometimes I don't think I have my own kind of accent. I guess my accent is a mix of whoever I spend the most time with.

I do the same thing with movies. Especially if the characters speak with an Irish or southern accent. I'll imitate it for hours or days. I don't really know how good I am at it, but it annoys my mom.

I do it, but not always, and seldom on purpose unless I am joking.

All the time. Just the other week, my IT teacher asked me if I was Canadian. I don't know where she got that one from because I barely even know what a Canadian accent sounds like. (I'm British btw, do they sound British?)

I also moved to Liverpool 4 years ago, and have since developed an accent strong enough to fool some real Liverpudlians with. I don't do it on purpose either. My normal voice is now slightly Liverpudlian.

I can't do any other accent, but my own.

I'm not sure about accents, but I tend to pick up the manner of speech of certain characters after I watch a show or movie for a long period of time.

Yes, always. Not only do I imitate real world accents, but also made-up accents from cartoons and movies. Lately, whenever I get breakthroughs in my obsessive interests, I've been imitating Scratchy the Cat (of Itchy & Scratchy). He sounds like a cross between a large Munchkin from The Wizard of Oz and The Penguin played by Burgess Merideth on the 1960s Batman, and he pronounces the last "s" of words with a "th" sound.

Scottish, Australian, Hungarian, Czech, Yiddish, New Yorkish ("When you're a Jet a you're a Jet all the way..."), and Philidelphyish are other favorites of mine. I love modern German accents, but I find them difficult.

I don't do it all the time but I can pick up accents quite easily and imitate voices with a bit of practice.I once made a tape impersonating celebrities and my parents couldn't believe it
was just me.
I can do Irish,Northern Irish (completely different from Irish),French,American (the Hollywood
version),German,Swedish,Welsh,English (including Scouse,Brummy,Geordie)

I sometimes imitated other people's voices, when stuff I said or was thinking reminded me of those people.
