I personally can't stand when any type of plane flies over my house. It's so loud and sounds so threatning. I just can't stand it. Who else has censory problems with airplanes?

Not so much planes overhead, but the noise inside a plane during air travel is really fatiguing for me. I arrive feeling like I've been beat up. I recently got some noise canceling headphones that are a huge help. They really do work.

Helicopters are even worse. I have to stare at both planes and helicopters because I hate the sound so bad.

I would normally agree with you guys, but after this week & being surrounded by fires choppers & planes are a heavenly sound, it means water is coming!

I don't have a problem with it.

I love the sound of jet-liners taking off. You know, right when they're at the start of the runway and the pilot revs the engine, then the plane taxes faster down the runway until it takes flight. Earsplitting for sure but quite excilerating.

Helicopters are really annoyingly loud because of how low they fly.

I don't like being on a airplane if that counts for anything. I get real bad anxiety when flying.

Short answer for me is, yes. Panic attack or extreme anxiety, which will spill over for days. I can still tell a military from civilian aircraft, just by the sound.

Others I have known find them very soothing as it meant to them, support was in the air. In those cases it was Vietnam.

I love the sound of planes. It reminds me that there's a huge world out there to explore, with lots of potential friends and experiences. :) It cheers me up.

I used to live about 3/4 of a mile from the end of the runway.
I would fantasise about having a WWII anti-aircraft gun in the garden :)

Hate them, that is an understatement!

I hate anything that's too loud. Airplanes flying less than 100 feet above would be too loud. Fortunately I don't ever experience that. Amplified concerts are often too loud, but that's to be expected, so I'm always prepared with earplugs at the ready.

I'm never getting into another plane again. I think i feel the plane (the shifting, the bending, the turbulance, etc.) and it makes me super nausiated. Last time i was on a plane, like 3 months ago, i swear i was about to have a heart-attack.

completely seize up when planes go over even though am wearing ear defenders, plane noises overload in an instant, but have that problem with most noises anyway.
