I just came across this test the other day:

http://paulcooijmans.lunarpages.com/pers/gaia.html

Here is how it works:

There are a total of 54 items. The median (average) for individuals diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome is 30.5. The higher your score, the more AS traits you supposedly have. (I, for instance, was able to check 34 items. According to this test, that makes me above average in aspie traits.)

It is the simplest test of its kind to complete which I have seen.

42. The only that I had trouble with was the "kids teasing" question. Kids have said some odd things to me but I wasn't sure if it was teasing.

I got 8 out of 54. I had to skip the work questions, though, since I have yet to get my first job (Hey, I'm only eighteen).

It is a poorly worded test. answering what I thought was right with a chance of error basically equal I got 31. Answering the most I dared, I got 33.

The problem with paper tests, is that they are designed by men who don't have it and are not always aware enough of what to test for... as einstein said "If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research!!"

I checked off about 23 items but the test seems kind of questionable if you ask me. Seems there are many items that are changeable.

I got 31 out of 54. It seems that I'm about average. I can't believe they were asking me if I had any other psychological disorders or if I did drugs. Those questions were followed by a big "no" from me. Some of the tougher questions were about the workforce, considering that I've never had a job in the first place. I'm nineteen, I'm in college, and I don't drive.

I got 39.

This test was a little odd though. Some of the questions were irrelevent. What does getting bitten by dogs have to do with Asperger's?

lol, yeah some questions I didn't get and there were some really subjective questions that would be hard to accurately answer. What's being employed "under one's ability?" How can one really know what they are able to do if they are not doing it? Likewise with education.

What's "one-sided eating" mean? :?:
