Do you find it hard to cope when your home is in a mess, for example, if you are decorating a room?
My house is in chaos at the moment, and I am hating every minute of it. I don't know when the work will be finished, but I just want it over so I can get back to normal.

Yes and due to living with a husband with ADHD (who is home all the time) my home is always in a mess. I find it hard to exist in any room other than my bedroom.

I often find the place is a mess and I don;t know how it happened. I tend to get caught up in what I'm doing and not notice anything else, but it doesn't matter 'cos no-one else is here.

First what does the /me signify?
Second that is pretty close to my husbands desk but I wish I had a camara so I could show you the living room here at our house. There is truly just a few places you can step to navigate the room. The dogs have to jump over things to go outside.
So no fainting here yet but maybe a little more tolerance of others clutter

I don't have much to make a mess with. That said, my room still manages to be a mess according to my mom. It's organized clutter. I know where everything is, but good luck to anyone else who wants find something without my help. I clean it maybe once or twice a year.

I have nightmares about moving back to my mothers and having to again share a room with my siblings who got it unbelievably messy and refused to clean it up leaving me as the one who was made to clean up after them. Getting my own place was necessary if I wanted to retain my sanity for very long. Clutter gets on my nerves so much I hate having one of my friends over since she always has a ton of stuff with her, dumping it everywhere.
Discordinate colors have the same affect on me. My beanie babies, 150 of them, are arranged according to what color they are because my eyes couldn't take all those colors and patterns mixing together. Even my area rug bothers me because it's turquoise rather than indigo, which is the dominate color in my apartment's decorating scheme.
