Hahaha I find it interesting you relate to the scientist in The Fly. My NT significant other joked and called me the scientist and he said he was the wife. I spend a lot of time alone in the basement so he always asks me if I'm making a fly humanoid.

Not really. I am a bit androgynous but I am by choice.

I have erotophobia so every sort of bodily fluid bothers me.

Very fond of animals. Favourite being a cat but I also like dogs, birds and fish

Mostly - I have some guyish interests, but I dress pretty
girly. I'm pretty bad at "girl talk" and I don't have much interest in boys, although I'm not a lesbian.

I am convinced that I am somewhere on the spectrum, but too mild to get a diagnosis.

3. Are you picky about food/eating?

Yes. I don't like most vegetables. I don't like things that sit in preserved juice - no soup, no non refrigerated juice, etc. Certain things really gross me out and people don't get it. I also always "bite" a spoon instead of closing my lips around it, because I don't like getting my own saliva on the food - that on'es pretty weird.

4. Are there any body parts/functions that REALLY bother you?

The word stomachache has always made me shiver, and so has being around people suffering from one.

5. If you were an X-Men, what mutant power would you have?

I've never seen X-Men - being invisible would be cool.

6. What is your biggest struggle?

Socializing, making new friends.

7. What is a trait you have that you feel is an advantage?

I recognize phoniness and I'm not phony at all - although I can at times be standoffish to people I've just met. And I enjoy my obsessions.

Christmas - good food and presents

I obsess over TV shows, have trouble socializing, stim, etc.

A setting where people are drinking or talking about drinking/boys obsessively, because I can't relate.

Discovery Health and the History channel are a bit weird - I like documentaries, but so does everyone else in my family.

Some routine changes upset me a lot, but not all. Usually, this would not at all upset me. I've never really had a romantic partner.

13. What is your strongest academic subject and weakness?

Strongest - writing, memorization, analysis, recognizing symbolism, reading very quickly. Weakest - understanding science on a molecular level, transferring different mathematical concepts onto different but similar math problems - I need a step by step introduction to each type of problem - variations throw me off a lot.

I analyze TV way more than others, and notice phoniness more I think.

Yes, I collect siamese cat stuff but I'm allergic. Otherwise I'd totally get a cat when I'm older.

Hmmm...is saying Holden Caulfield bad lol? I'd have to think about that.

I know I really obsessed over rocks and stuff like that as a kid. I had a very brief obsession with LOTR, then a 3 year one with The Nanny, and now I've been obsessing over House for a year.

Difficulties with loud and/or high pitch noise, scratch or flick material/objects when overwhelmed, and the fact that I have to be led when the sun is too bright, as I cannot see!

1. Do you fit in with your gender role?

Not really. I don't perceive myself to be a person having any particular sex - I could be a bodiless brain in the jar as well. I like being dressed pretty, wearing jewellery and smell of good perfume but it's practically everything. I'm not masculine, I'm not interested in things males are interested in so often (sport, cars, computers and so on) but I don't have too much in common with representatives of my own sex, too. I can say I'm androgynous.

I'm not diagnosed and I won't be diagnosed for quite a long time, I suppose. I'll do it when I start earning money on my own.

3. Are you picky about food/eating?

Extremaly. Food could not exist for me. I'd love to feed only with Pepsi It's my favourite thing to drink.

4. Are there any body parts/functions that REALLY bother you?

I don't like having a menstruation (it lasts long in me because I have some problems with endometrium and I am taking medicines for this), generally it's unhygienic to have genitals. I mentioned already on the forum I'd love to have a body consisting of liquid changing shapes, like bodies of Mercury from the X-men or T-1000 and T-X from the Terminator movies. Such a body would be much better than a body of flesh and blood

I'd love to have abilities of Apocalypse or Mr M. But rather Apocalypse's.

7. What is a trait you have that you feel is an advantage?

Having always an unbiased opinion, intelligence and ability to perceive things from pure logical point of view.

Halloween - what a pity it's not popular here in Poland

I always liked Polish but hated maths and chemistry. Now, when I'm in college, I like American literature but I hate English grammar and American studies (it's because of our teacher of those subjects who undeniably doesn't belong to the nicest people on the Earth).

I missed some questions but I'm too lazy to look for answers I answered only those questions the answers for whom came to my mind as first.

1. Do you fit in with your gender role? - Totally NOT. I've never had any interest in being girly whatsoever. I can't STAND gender stereotypes, and I have a really hard time even talking or being around made-up pretentious girly-girls...

2. Are you diagnosed with AS/unsure/curious/NT? - Not diagnosed, but about as sure as I can possibly be that I have AS.

3. Are you picky about food/eating? - Yes. Oftentimes I can't eat anything because nothing sounds good to me. I tend to find something I like a lot and stick with it for awhile. I'm also just picky in general about food.

4. Are there any body parts/functions that REALLY bother you? - The only thing I can think of relating to that is I not liking to go to the bathroom because I hate being interrupted.

5. If you were an X-Men, what mutant power would you have? I really don't know. Invisibility, maybe.

6. What is your biggest struggle? Geez. I'm sure I could name quite a few, but to keep it simple, I'll go with my long list of social issues.

7. What is a trait you have that you feel is an advantage? - Well, I think thinking differently in general can also be a big advantage.

8. What is your favorite holiday? - I'm totally not big on holidays, but I'll definitely go with Halloween.

9. Do you have any quirky habits others don't understand? Many. Really, way too many to start listing.

10. What setting bothers you the most? - Anything really loud, crowded, and/or full of superficial people. I can take things like concerts for the most part because I can focus on the music, but even things like malls can be very exhausting to me. Also places like doctor's offices and such. Any social gatherings that I have to talk to people I don't really know. Very mentally draining.

11. Do you like a certain channel on TV that others don't appreciate? - I tend to leave it on the 24-hr local news station, which repeats every half an hour. I drive my partner crazy with this. I don't even really like it either, "news" is full of BS, but somehow it's comforting.

12. Do you like surprises or surprise visits from friends or romantic partners? - This really, really depends on the situation.

13. What is your strongest academic subject and weakness? Strongest was math for a long time. After I got to calculus, I just got confused. But Algebra I really, really liked. Also writing while it was still creative. After there were lots of rules to follow, it wasn't nearly as fun. And art, for sure. Worst was probably most sciences.

14. What are some things you notice that no one else does? As a general rule, I always notice what other people don't in everything, and don't see the things they do. I can be "very observant", and yet somehow miss all the things other people see. This seems to happen all the time.

15. Do you like animals? What is your favorite animal? - Yeah, for the most part. I like birds. I have a parakeet. I'd like to have a dog someday.

16. What fictional character do you relate to the most? - I'm not sure. I don't have one that I relate to, I don't think.

17. Who is your favorite fictional character? - Again, I don't know.

18. What is your favorite type of weather? - I like varied weather. Always very mild though. I cannot stand the heat. I'd prefer somewhere around mid-50's. 60-degree temps are okay as long as I'm not in direct sun for too long.

19. What objects interest you? Books! Anything in rainbow colours, especially if it's bordered by black.

20. What was your first obsession? Puzzles - I was amazing at puzzles when I was still very young. My mom swears that I was doing full stand-alone puzzles by the time I turned one, but now that I have a child of my own, I don't see how that's possible! Also books. I've definitely been into books my entire life. I've always liked letters and numbers a lot.
